Project Outline
I created an explainer video of the History of the Eiffel Tower. I explained the history, how it was built, the uses of the tower, and more, and organized the information into one short video. Using imagery, text, and creating an audio with sound effects I visually keep the viewer interested in the history lesson being shown in a short amount of time.
The Objective
Using a topic of choice, create an explainer video that is packed with action and communicates the information clearly. Animated explainer videos help educate the users, sell products, or deliver a strong and compelling message that inspires
people to do something.
Research & Inspiration
I have always found the Eiffel Tower to be an interesting architectural piece and an important aspect of French history. Learning a lot of interesting facts about the Eiffel Tower in my art history class, I wanted to share the information I learned in a fun and interesting way. Gathering my notes and additional research, I organized the information into a timeline. Aesthetically, I used graphic elements and historical photography with a muted color palette. I created an audio with French music and royalty free sound effects to go along with the animation.
